Wildthings: A Nature & Arts Summer Camp

A two-week wilderness adventure in connection and creativity for young spirits.

Let your little ones dance like fairies through the trees, paint under the open sky, and create wild sculptures with bark and feathers. Guided by a spirit of curiosity, they’ll be exploring through their senses, hands, and imaginations.



With activities such as forest foraging, hands-on arts and crafts, and poolside play, the Wildthings Camp allows young personalities to bloom and come together, rooted in nature. Nourishing lunches and snacks are provided to fuel the days. 

Let them grow – wild, flowering, and of the earth. 



Daily Schedule:

9:30-10:30 - Morning Circle

10:30-11:00 - Snack and Free Play

11:00-12:30 - Arts & Crafts Time

12:30-13:30 - Nourishing Lunch

13:30-15:00 - Forest Adventure

15:30-16:30 - Snack and Pool Play



Details:

  • Duration: 1 or 2 week sign-up 

  • Time: Monday to Friday, 9:30-16:30 (with possibility of extension)

  • Ages: 4 – 11 years

  • Location Features: Forest area, swimming pool, large outdoor arts and crafts zone

  • Group Size: min 10 - max 16 

  • Supervision: 1 facilitator per 8 children

  • Price: 330€/week per child (includes lunch and snacks) // 600€ for two weeks

About the Location

DOMA Portugal (ex. Quinta dos Machados) is just 40 minutes from Lisbon and 20 minutes from Ericeira — nestled in a cooler, breezy part of the countryside that stays comfortable even on warm summer days.



Children spend their days surrounded by trees, gardens, and open sky. They explore nature as it is — touching plants, spotting insects, climbing gently shaped paths — all within a safe and thoughtfully designed space.

The area includes shaded zones, hammocks, and child-friendly corners where kids can rest, recharge, and feel at ease. All essential comforts are in place, so little ones can fully enjoy a grounded, screen-free environment — and parents can feel confident they’re in good hands.



A nourishing menu to fuel growing bodies

Morning Snack: seasonal fruit, veggie sticks, hummus, crackers, nuts

Afternoon Snack: seasonal fruit, bread with spread, yoghurt and granola, carrot and apple cake



Lunch week 1: 

Day 1 - Pasta bolognese (with vegan option) with broccoli

Day 2 - Roasted chicken with veggies, rice, salad mix

Day 3 - Make your burrito - bean spread, chicken (or tofu), corn, olives, bell peppers, carrots, lettuce

Day 4 - Burgers (beef and veggie), roasted potatoes, salad mix

Day 5 - Turkey or egg sandwich, veggie sticks with spread, cherry tomatoes

Lunch week 2:

Day 1 - Pasta, spinach pesto, broccoli, cherry tomatoes

Day 2 - Roasted chicken (or seitan/tofu) with veggies, rice, salad mix

Day 3 - Make your pita - hummus, falafel, bell peppers, carrots, lettuce

Day 4 - Burgers (beef and veggie), roasted potatoes, salad mix



For Parents & Guardians

A chance to slow down, unwind, and find space while the little ones are playing. Reset with a wellness ritual at ATMOS Steam Center, take a languorous dip in the pool, or nourish yourself with a seasonal breakfast at our Café & Bakery



You can also book a massage or bodywork session, or evenп stay overnight in one of our historical-view rooms for a deeper rest.
